Techazine is a blog targeting systems administrators and engineers, sales engineers and other technical staff. It publishes technical reviews of new hardware and software products, how-to and problem solving articles based on real-world problems. Content is primarily focused around Microsoft, VMware, HP and Apple products and the ecosystems surrounding them.
Philip is a IT solutions engineer working for AmWINS Group, Inc., an insurance brokerage firm in Charlotte, NC. With a focus on data center technologies, he has built a career helping his customers and his employers deploy better IT solutions to solve their problems. Philip holds certifications in VMware and Microsoft technologies and he is a technical jack of all trades that is passionate about IT infrastructure and all things Apple. In addition to his day job, Philip began writing about technology and the lessons he’d learned earning the attention of technology vendors and his peers. His blog morphed several times as new opportunities arose, including the opportunity to author a book, PowerCLI Cookbook.
In his career, he has had hands-on roles as a systems administrator and as a consultant – maintaining networks, servers, workstations and infrastructure and he also worked as developer and owned a successful web applications company. Jason Foxworth is a systems administrator for Horry Telephone Cooperative focused in application delivery and client virtualization. His responsibilities for the co-op are around Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM, Exchange, and Sharepoint, the Citrix portfolio of XenApp, XenDesktop, XenServer, and Netscaler and VMware products. Jason has certifications for Citrix XenApp 6.5, Citrix XenDesktop 7, and is a Microsoft Certified IT Professional. Prior to HTC, Jason worked as a customer technology consultant for a national retailer. Outside of technology, Jason enjoys fishing, hiking and the outdoors.
